Résumé Workshop and Mock Interview
The Résumé Workshop and Mock Interview event will take place today Tuesday, April 5, at 7:30 PM at the George Mason University Engineering Building (Room 2608). See directions below.
The event will take place as follows:
- 7:30 – around 7:45 PM – Question and Answer Session: We will likely have this as an “ask the panel” setup where students can ask all of you general questions about résumés, interviews, how to land a job, what it’s like in the workforce, etc.
- After around 7:45 PM, we will break into two groups — résumé and interview — where students can get more one-on-one or small group advice. Some students will likely be intimidated to ask questions to the entire panel, so this will allow those students an additional opportunity to ask questions as well as ask more specific questions about his/her résumé, etc.
Food and drinks will be provided for the event, so please come with an appetite.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact me at (571) 643-4787 or by email at email@example.com.

Directions to get to the university are located here: http://www.gmu.edu/resources/welcome/Directions-to-GMU.html#495 The location for the presentation will be in the Nguyen Engineering Building in RM 2608 (Second Floor). Upon arriving on campus, follow Patriot Circle to the right until you reach Sandy Creek Way. Make a left at the stop sign onto Sandy Creek Way, and pull into the parking garage. This is the better alternative for parking on campus, as if you park in a lot, you will be ticketed. The parking deck accepts credit cards. From the parking garage, walk along the path beside the Shuttle Stop so that you are facing Research I Building and Enterprise Hall. If you turn left past the Shuttle Stop and start walking down the hill, the engineering building will be located to the right on the other side of the street.
