The presentation will take place at George Mason University (GMU) in Fairfax, VA. The workshop will start at 8:00 am and end at 12:00 noon. Description and registration info can be found below. Description: This tutorial will cover fundamental principles of Service Oriented Architecture and how they are expressed in cloud and non-cloud based systems today. Participants will gain a better understanding of what the principles are, and how to apply them to current systems engineering problems. The course will emphasize a conceptual understanding so that participants can apply what they’ve learned to their own particular programs. The course material heavily references the OASIS Reference Model for Service Oriented Architecture OASIS Reference Model for Service Oriented Architecture 1.0 (http://docs.oasis-open.org/soa-rm/v1.0/soa-rm.pdf).
